one stitch left

When hubby took Silver to get the stitches from her spay removed, they left one (it was at the humane society, they had no vet on site when he went in despite being told to bring her in at that time, and he held her while they took them out)...I know this is going to sound like a really stupid question but what the possible consequences of leaving that stitch alone? I don't know, after all she has been thru already, that we would get her into a carrier to go back to the white coats....

Do you think you could remove the stitch yourself? If one of you held her and the other clipped the knot, it should pull out pretty easily, as long as the incision is healed well.

I agree.. Make sure all is healing very well..
