Pictures Of Me & My Furkids!!!

I was trying to get some good pictures of both me and my furkids and some of just me today to update my pictures on Kirsten's PT page. I only took one picture of me with each cat and as you can see they're not too good. My cats didn't enjoy it one bit.
I did learn how to set my camera on a 10 second timer so I could then sit back and let the camera do it's thing. It was set on red eye reduction but with cats I think I need a setting for alien eye reduction. Enjoy!!!

Thanks, since Ziggy doesn't like being held so I almost gave up on trying to get a picture of her and I. The first time I tried out in living room and she managed to claw me through my shirt. Now I have 3 large claw marks near my left breast and I go in for a mammagram next Monday. I found her in my windowsill in my bedroom so this is where I ended up taking the picture.

Katie, thanks but it was Sky that had to get into Pearl's picture which was fine with me. I'm almost 5'10" and yes I'm still quite thin but lately I've gained about 8lbs and it all goes to my stomach, legs, and butt area which you can't see in the pictures.

#3, 4 and 5 are GREAT! I too love how Starr had to be in Pearl's picture. And you look great!

You are so right about the alien eye reduction, we all need that sometimes. Try if you can get some pics in daylight one day!

Thanks Randi, it was Sky and yes maybe this coming weekend I'll try it again in an area where I don't need to use my flash.

My favorite pic is the last two.. In the next to last one you & the other baby just a posing && here is Ziggy sitting like whats up.. I do like the last pic of you & Ziggy the best..

Helene, thanks and once again it's Sky but Ziggy looks so similar that I call them twins. I'm glad that I was able to get one with Ziggy and it did turn out clearer maybe because we were closer to my camera.

I think they all turned out good. The last one with Ziggy did make me giggle. I could tell she wasn't in the picture taking mood.

We found out the best way to rid pictures of "alien red-eye" is to:

1. make sure the camera is eye level with the cat (taking pictures pointing up or down will catch the glare in their retnia's).

2. also put a kleenex over your flash, this will soften the light. this is an old Hollywood trick to hide wrinkles on stars when the camera is up close.
