    6 Word Memoir

Just thought I'd start a pretty interesting thread. What you do here is write something meaningful -- only in 6 words.

One of my favorites (I didn't write it):
Trying to be my mother's daughter.

    And one of my own:
Trying too hard to be loved.
Smile more, cry less, live happy.

Okay PT, get those brains working and write some lovely memoirs!

Some more favorites I found on a website:

-I often stumble, but seldom fall.
-Reading these, I know I'm human.
-Wanted: Mom and dad, unconditional love.
-What else are you waiting for?
-Almost nothing that chocolate hasn't fixed.
-I expect nothing and accept everything.
-I'm running away, chase after me.
-Cry, smile, and let it go.

Wow. Six seriously crushing words in that one.

Not a memoir, but I try to remind myself ...

"In five years, will this matter?"
"We give dogs the time we can spare, the space we can spare and the love we can spare. And in return, dogs give us their all. It's the best deal man has ever made" - M. Facklam

"We are raised to honor all the wrong explorers and discoverers - thieves planting flags, murderers carrying crosses. Let us at last praise the colonizers of dreams."- P.S. Beagle

"All that is gold does not glitter, Not all those who wander are lost; The old that is strong does not wither, Deep roots are not reached by the frost. From the ashes a fire shall be woken, A light from the shadows shall spring; Renewed shall be blade that was broken, The crownless again shall be king." - J.R.R. Tolkien
