Dominic's Turns Two

I have gotten so bad about posting - for one thing at work my pictures don't show up when I post - I just get a red x and at home - well with 2 kids and 8 dogs, I hardly find time to upload pictures to Shutterfly and post them too.

On July 22nd, Dominic turned 2. It was a bittersweet day for us because it was also the 3 anniversary of the day we buried my son. But since he was born that day, I guess God wanted us to go on - not to forget Rob - but to know that life continues even if we miss somone so very much. Anyway we took him to Friendly's to celebrate. I think he ate his food but I didn't seem to take pictures of that. But here is his celebration Sundae.

And then it was time to go home and open gifts



Can you tell he likes to be read to and his favorite movie/book/toy is CARS?


He also got a CARS pull out couch, a CARS backrest for his bed, and a gas pump for his outside riding car. He was one pretty happy boy!


Together he and his sisters got bubble blowing lawn mowers. They had a lot fo fun with those too

That Saturday afternoon we went to my mom's to celebrate with my side of the family. Here are a afew pictures of that.

He is such a good and sweet boy he waked around the circle holding his clothes or toys up so everyone could see them. It was a stitch watching him wait for each person to say something about each new gift!!

It is so hard to believe he is 2 already. So much has happened over the last few years and he cerainly has been one of the greatest gifts (as is his sister) to help us get through this time and know that God is with us even in the rotten times!
