    Cat actually enjoys attacking dogs?

I've known this cat since she was a kitten. She's about 3 years now. She was my neighbors until they moved and just left her. She was pregnant, of course, and had 5 kittens. I took em all in. This was 7 mos ago and now I guess she's mine. I have 2 small dogs (a schnoodle and min pin) that she never bothered, even when they would get around the babies. Before she was abandoned and before the kittens, I have seen her run after dogs and attack them. She doesn't care what size they are. I watched her chase this guys 2 large black labs and she jumped on one and it was screaming! When I walk my dogs she likes to follow us and if someone is across the street walking their dog, she will run across the street to get it. I have to warn people to watch their dog b/c she'll attack it. She's never bothered my dogs until now. About 2 weeks ago she started beating up my poor boys. She made one drip blood from under his nose last week. It's like she comes outta nowhere. She runs from another room and attacks them for no reason. She's not playing either, she's really trying to hurt them. They're like prisoners in their own home. They are really scared of her. I'll run up and hit her with newspaper or pull her off and grab her by the scruff of her neck and tell her no. I have some of her babies, but I know it's not that. They are 7 mos old and she gets pissy at them too. She just seems to delight in attacking dogs. I have "soft claws" but didn't want to put them on her b/c she goes out. She won't be able to defend herself if she goes to attack some poor dog. It's almost impossible to keep her in when she wants out. She acts insane and jumps up the blinds and tears things up acting crazed, just not worth it. Yes, I had her spayed! Why is she attacking my dogs all of a sudden and, short of taking her to the pound, what can I do? I don't want her to put an eye out, plus my dogs are really scared and it's not cool.

Oh yea, I forgot to mention that she's been walking around doing this meow like she's looking for something. Her 7 mo old babies just ignore her, and she's not looking for them anyways. It's almost like she's in heat or is calling out to something. And I did read about tails. She'll swish her tail back and forth real fast while doing this horrible meow. I know that means she's pissed, but what about?

Did you get her fixed? Maybe she's frustrated and taking it out on the dogs.
