Bunny Problem

I have another problem. My bunny, Floppsy, lives outside. Well, Floppsy lives in this three room cage outside, right? So I took off the combination lock and opened the cage, and there were like three earwigs crawling on the wall of the cage. I HATE bugs and I always objected to having my precious bunny living out there, but the cage came with the house, and it was a really good cage and all, but I still want him inside with me. Also, I keep all of his food in a tin arbage can outside my house, and earwigs always come in the can to get the food. I'm scared to move the cage inside the house, or else the earwigs might get in the house. What should I do, move the bunny in the house or let him stay outside? And should I move the food into the house??

Bunnies are pretty easily litterbox-trained. Why not move the bunny indoors? As for the earwigs, I would put Floppsey indoors (confine her to the kitchen or bathroom, at first, then empty, clean and disinfect the food dishes, the water dishes, and the whole cage, if you are going to keep the bunny cage inside. Then you don't have to worry about bugs! As for the food container, I would just throw away whatever food is left in it, and clean and disinfect that quite thoroughly.

I agree with Karen. Disinfect everything. Bunnies are alot of fun to have in the house and if you litter box train her (or him) then they can just wonder aroudn a room! I bet your buny would enjoy it!

Why don't you get another small hutch for indoors, keeping bunny insdie at night. Also keep all the food indoors it saves it being infested with anything. Yes clean out the outdoor hutch offe, save any nasty insects from getting in there.
