Happy 14th Birthday, Cassie!! June 22

Happy birthday to my wonderful dalmatian, Cassie. She will be 14 on Sunday, June 22. Here are a few...okay, a lot of pictures of Cassie's life. The descriptions are in her words

Well, here I am as a cute little puppy!! I loved to chew, sleep, eat, romp, grab things I wasn't supposed to grab, and most of all, love my family.













In this picture, I kinda have a guilty look on my face....probably chewed something up (again!)

Well, I have a wonderful family. I have been their playmate, protector, confidant. My humans include mom and dad and my best buddies, Marc and Molly. I was one year old when Marc was born, so I've known them all of my life.......

I love my family, and I would do anything for them....I've even let my mom know when my buddies had a fever or were sick. I wouldn't let her go to bed until she checked on them. I have even suffered some teasing from the neighborhood dogs on their behalf......





I've had a very good life....My legs don't move as fast as they used to, and my face spots are getting some grey, but I know I'm loved and lived a very fortunate life.....So, here I am in my favorite spot in the house THE COUCH! (although these days I need a litte help)


Mom wanted me to tell everyone she is sorry for so many pictures....there were just so many to choose from! Also, she sized all of the pictures as MEDIUM on photobucket, but some came out large! Don't know why! Well, hugs and kisses to everyone on Pet Talk!...

OH HAPPY BIRTHDAY CASSIE!!!!!!!!!!!! You sure were an adorable puppy and you are a beautiful girl now!!!!!! It was good for me to see you as a puppy and know that you are a calm adult dog because your mom and I probably both feel like our puppies will never act normal!!!!!

Happy Birthday to you sweet Cassie! You were indeed an adorable puppy and I am sure are not guilty of half of the things you were accused of. I got a kick out of the picture of you sprawled on the floor in, what we call around here, the frog position. Ouch! How do you dogs do that? LOL! Well, I am sorry Cassie, but I must admit that Ginger is rolling on the floor laughing at your Hawaiian a outfit. I can see how some of the dogs in the neighborhood may have teased you about that one. But I, on the other hand, think you make an absolutely gorgeous hula dancer. And your ukulele is very pretty.

Cassie I have watched you go from puppyhood to adulthood this morning and loved every picture. Please tell your mom not to apologize. We are happy to join in your birthday celebration. I understand very well the aging process as I am no spring chicken any more either. HA! Don't worry about your spots graying. That just makes you all the more special and dear!
