    Cream Cheese and Ham?

    Again, apologies to Dr Seuss!

    Do you like cream cheese and ham?
    Yes. I love them, Ed I Am!
    I will eat it off your plate!
    I will eat it early and late!

    I do love cream cheese and ham!
    Alone? Together? Ed I Am!
    Ham and cream cheese on a bun?
    On your plate? I'll leave you some.

    On bagels? Rye? Or whole wheat bread?
    Or a snack with you in our bed?
    Would you eat them off the table?
    Or steal some while I watch my cable?

    Do you like cream cheese and ham?
    I do like them! Ed I Am!
    I love the tastes and I'd like to savor,

    Richard, you crack me up. I like your version better than Dr. Seuss (and I'm a librarian, lol). I also copied it and sent it to my mom, a retired children's librarian.

    Take a slice o'rye bread.

    Slather on the cream cheese. Layer on some basil leaves, a slice of tomato and ham, top with another slice of bread with cheese on it.

    You can toast the bread before or put it into a George Foreman grill for a minute!

    Watch the cats freak out!
