    Proud of Mom!

    I am really proud of Mom today.She got a letter in the mail yesterday to say she was chosen for an award by Community Care in Bowmanville.This goes every year to a volunteer who shows a unusually high level of commitment ,that fit mom perfectly .She kept doing Meals on Wheels despite dad being the way he was with Lou Gehrig's.She never could have done without the support of me and Marlene looked after dad while she went out and delivered meals.Gave Mom a pat on the back she really deserves,she works really hard. She gets this award a Volunteer appreciation lunch next Friday the 25th.

    CONGRATULATIONS MOM!!! It doesn't surprise me that she has been recognized, Barry. She's a very special lady. Many women her age don't do anything and she is so active and always helping others. Congratulations to you and Marlene too for being there to help. Please give her a big hug for me!!
