    Courageous Cruiser!!!

    Good morning, Cruiser!

I knew the instant I saw the thumbnail photo that we had a bichon for Dog of the Day today! Yahoo!!!

You are so courageous for overcoming your sad start in life. And look at all the wonderous things you HAVE accomplished! Getting your confidence up was a HUGE step in the right direction. Your mom was so lucky to have you enter her life, just as you were lucky that she entered yours. You needed someone willing to spend the time to help you 'learn how to be a dog.' and You did it!

My 4 bichons are all rescues, and I love everyone of them. I know how wonderful you are as a buddy and a pet and I am happy to wish you lots of hugs, pets and snacks from grandpa today as you celebrate your special day.

    YAHOO!

My thoughts exactly! Cruiser there is not much more that I can say that the others have not already said. Your life is proof that happy endings are always possible. It just takes love and understanding and the sky is the limit! You look amazing for your age. At first I thought your person meant to type 1 instead of 11! Congratulations to you!

Oh...my...gosh! How adorable are you, Cruiser! We have a slew of Bichon lovers here on Pet Talk and it's no surprise to see so many enthusiastic fans posting on your much deserved thread of honor! What a amazing life story you is yours, Cruiser; truly a rags to riches, Cinderfella tale! Wow, from a not so confident pupper to show dog! hehe We just love "success stories" here on Pet Talk, and you sweetheart, your grit and courage, are truly an inspiration to us all! And your family is deserving of some props too! Many thanks to them for giving such a deserving doggie a paw up in life! I SO wish I could scoop you up and cover you with smoochies Cruiser, but since I'm not able to, I hope your Mom will do that for me! Hope you're enjoying a super duper, fun filled "top dog" day, precious Cruiser! You sure made mine a bit brighter!

    P.S...Enjoy your retirement!

Cruiser what a handsome fellow you are!!!

I can't stand to think of you having to live in a cage just because you weren't treated right when you were young. What a wonderful thing that you have a loving family and a "grandpa" to bark at for treats now!!!

I hope your family are spoiling your rotten today.

Congratulations, sweetie, on being our special Dog of the Day!!!
