I had a play date...by Tehya with pics...

    WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO PT

So this afternoon, I'm laying around, doing nothing!

    Just hanging out.

Occasionally checking out the view from on top of the compost box, but basically bored outta my little mind, when Mom comes outside with a leash and her camera. She says "Tehya Foof, let's go. No, sorry guys, just Tehya"

I LOVE it when she says "just Tehya"! We headed down the trail. I haven't had an off-leash runaround in ages so I was very happy.

We got the little parking area on the trail and holy moly, a bunch of my friends were there! That's Ms. Michelle, Popeye, Essa, Abby, and Lucky, plus Daisy and Biscuit and Ms. Josephine! What a nice suprise to see my friends!

And we all took off down the trail! Well, not Essa so much since she is pretty much ancient. I was very nice to her cuz Pirate has taught me to respect my elders and not be a hooligan to them!

    more coming.....

Spring is kinda fun. There's lots of mud to play in!

And stuff to sniff. I don't get to sniff much in the winter cuz I'm usually working! I hafta concentrate on what I'm doing!

Abby and Essa stayed close to the humans.

Me and Popeye ran around like lunatics, which apparently was the point of this play date. Ms. Michelle isn't feeling so good and she needed to get Popeye tired out so he would behave himself better!

I told her Anytime, I will be glad to play with Popeye! Cuz yanno, I'm nice that way!

Popeye likes to think he can hide in the bushes!

But I always find him! It works out good, cuz he likes to be chased and I like to do the chasing! Aren't his ears the funniest thing you ever saw? They flop over when he runs fast!

    few more coming

We all had to go on our leashes for a little while, cuz we ran into some other dogs who don't play so nice with others. Mom knows them and their people. They ain't no trouble as long as everyone is on leash. When we got by them, we got to go run around loose again.

We went for a nice walk and then Mom and I walked home by ourselves. Those other doggers got a ride home in their car! I had to wait for Mom to catch up with me. Again, I'm nice that way!

When I got home, I wasn't totally tired so I wrassled with Mac for awhile.

Then Mom went to feed us dinner and she saw a big box sitting outside our gate. When we went to look(I had to go help her...I'm nice that way too), we found that our neighbor had cleaned out his freezer and brought us a bunch of meat. We had a smorg for dinner! It was yummy and very nice of that man to think of us!

Now I have to head to bed! Mom needs her rest and I better keep her company.

    WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOo

Oh, Tehya, thanks for keeping track of your great day to share with us. I love the pictures, especially the one of you waiting for mom and ...the one of Popeye in the bushes. I bet Miss Michelle would like to have a copy of that one.

    LOL
It's funny, when I saw that picture and the one of Popeye running I thought he looked even cuter than normal. Now I know why; it's the ears.
What a fun day! And you are right, Tehya, you are a very nice girl. I am sure that your Mom, and Ms. Michelle appreciate what a nice girl you have become. I really enjoyed the pictures, thanks for sharing.

What great pictures! I loved looking at them and making my poor co-worker (who's sitting at his desk quietly doing his work) keep getting up to come look and them with me. Tehya is absolutely beautiful and I LOVED the picture of Tehya with the other dogs on the snowy trail. Popeye looks just like my late dog, Stryker, who was a gorgeous white alaskan husky. Thanks for sharing

Pirate taught you something??? Good thing I was sitting when I read that line! I thought only momma could teach you anything, Tehya, and then only when YOU wanted to learn it!

When I got home, I wasn't totally tired so I wrassled with Mac for awhile.
Yup, that's our girl Tehya alright. Te hee. What a wonderful play date you had, thank you for sharing.

Tamara, I agree, that face on Popeye in the 'hiding in the bushes' photo is a wonderful camera capture, bet his momma would appreciate a copy!
