Spring Time in Montreal, Quebec

I didn't want to ruin Kirstens thread, "Post your Spring Photos" with all the beautiful flowers, by posting pictures of spring time in Montreal, where I live.

This is what our spring looked liked last Friday, April 4th.

Notice all the snow that we still have laying around. We just kept having storm after storm this year. At times, the city didn't even get a chance to finish clearing the snow from the streets and sidewalks before we got hit with more snow. We're in for some nice weather this week, so I hope it melts a lot of the snow. So maybe we might get to see Spring, within the next couple of weeks.

We still have a little snow here too. It's been melting pretty good the last few days though. We were suppose to get 10 cm of snow on wed or thurs but we seemed to be lucky enough and didn't get it. I can't WAIT for it to be warm out!

LOL! Now I remember why I like teaching here in South China during the Canuck winter..I HATE shovelling!

I hope the thaw sets in soon and you get some warm pleasant weather to enjoy all the great things in Montreal.

Brrr, that should be February photos, NOT April!!!

I also hope the melting isn't too fast, as that leads to Spring floods.

I was just saying to someone yesterday that I would rather have it be a little colder and light snow than cold and rainy! That's what we have had lately - gray, cold rainy days, followed by bright sun and WIND!

Lorraine ~ We are having the same weather in Anchorage.

Don't have a photo, but just hold up a piece of typing paper and stare it. That's pretty much what our spring looks like so far.

Goodness, that looks like Ohio! We finally got rid of all the snow, though, and we've had some absolutely gorgeous weather here, in the high 60's, typical spring days in Ohio. Sure hope it's here to stay. Here's wishing you warm weather and plenty of sunshine......
