Best Friends and Michael Vick's dogs

I just received a newsletter from Best Friends.

They are featuring just one of the dogs that came from Michael Vick - Little Red, and reporting on the positive results.

Do you know that they still bunk down each night with his dogs so that they won't be scared. They are called sancturary sleep-ins.

I find that so heartwarming.

It makes me feel encouraged when I hear new like this. I am so happy
there are people who take their time to help these pups.

If you ever get a chance to visit Best Friends - do. We drove over from Las Vegas on our last trip out there. I was ready to move to Utah and work at the shelter. Utah is breathtaking and the sanctuary brought happy tears to my eyes knowing there was a place where animals (dogs, cats, birds, horses, etc.) all have a safe place to go.
