    The Importance of being Ernest

You sound like quite a sweet character; I love the knocking things over part best. You just like to see them fall, right? And the water from the faucet? Well, my kitty used to like to do that too. So maybe you're just being a typical cat, I'd guess.

Tiene un buen dia especial hoy, Ernesto!

Ernest your story has me smiling big. You are quite the character aren't you? Honestly, though, I have to agree with your human that you should maybe think twice before you bring one of your *friends* home. Haven't you noticed that skunks have *ahem* a little odor about them at times? I am so glad that you were a keeper. I know a certain family whose life has been enriched just by having you around. Congrats to you Ernest!

Well now, Earnest, I thought my Coco Puff was the only strange one for lying on top of my shoes. Now I see he has a brother! Well, you're one handsome boy and much deserving of the title of COTD! Enjoy!
    Blessings,

Ernest, what a cute boy you are. You look as trim and energetic like an Aby and if there were any among your grand-grand-parents that would explain your love for water
I love that you are not racist and appreciate a diversity of friends I hope your mom will come to appreciate it too
Have a great day today, sweet boy.

    Oh such a sweet boy

Ernest, congratulations - you are The Cat of the Day. Such a great honor for such a delightful kitty. You remind me of Garfield, the kitty in the comic strip!

I, too, think you may have some Aby blood in your family tree. You would fit right in, in my house. Well, the fact that you don't enjoy your cat friends does present a bit of a problem. I bet your house buddy friends just aren't as smart as you!

Again, sweet fella, congratulations are coming your way. I bet your family is so proud of you.

By the way, orange in a very much loved cat color here at Pet Talk!

    Celebrate!!!

Oh, Ernest! I am a very huge fan of orange kitties. You are most excellently handsome! My orange fur-nephew Milo likes to play the knock-it-down game, too. Please ask your family to give you big hugs and kisses for me! Happy Cat of the Day! (P.s., I would love it if your person would register for PT so I can stay in touch with you!)

    Ernest you are so adorable!!!

What a scamp you seem to be too!!! It may be best to make sure any of the, um, friends you bring home can't be smelled before they can be seen.

I bet living with you is a hoot!!! Never a dull moment for sure!!!

I hope you have a wonderfully fun day!!!

Congratulations, sweetie, on being our special Cat of the Day!!!

Well, I've been looking at this site for some time now but it took Ernest's picture and story to inspire me to register so I could post a response

Orange tabby's have always been my favorite and you are one beautiful orange tabby; I love the "M" on your forehead, which, I believe, all tabby's possess. My 2 boys are grey tabby's but my last love, Rocky, looked just like you. I love your picture in the pedestal sink; very majestic! Just like you and your special room, My Bean has his own apartment in the basement and goes down there for some alone time and to sleep at night. Enjoy what's left of your special day and have a great life...it sounds like you do! Thanks to your humans
