    Pock, pock, pock....

    I awoke to a noise the other night...

    Pock, pock, pock....

    I was scared at first, the fog of sleep had me off balance.

    Pock, pock, pock....

    When I finally got my wits about me I remembered the short story, "The Tell Tale Heart".

    Pock, pock, pock....

    I had heard that noise before, so the after the initial shock went away, I climbed out of bed and put my shoes on.

    Pock, pock, pock....

    I made it to the middle of my house and followed the scary sound.

    Pock, pock, pock....

    Closer and closer. I made my way to the desk.

    Pock, pock, pock....

    Along with the thundering blood in my ears, the measured sound of pock, pock, pock and a ghostly figure on the desktop made the whole scene an unreal experience.

    Pock, pock, pock....
