    Designer cats?

    Did anyone read this article on Yahoo about breeders creating "designer" cats that sell for $22,000? I have to say that I find the whole thing very disturbing. With all the stray and abused animals out there that need a loving home I just don't get why anyone would want to fork over that kind of money for a new "it" pet. I just don't understand.
