    What Kind of Plant is this???

    Photobucket is down, so I am attaching it.

    The only word I have found is "coleus", but am not sure it is one.

    If I am not mistaken my mom always called it a joseph's coat. Not sure why or if it is a kinda nickname or what. I did a search for the joseph's coat and it certainly looks nothing like the one you posted which is the one my mom & grandmother referred to as such. I guess they were confused.

    Possibly because the leaves contain quite a few different colours? The centres of the leaves become more red if they are in full sunlight, but become paler or almost white if in a shady spot without direct sunlight.
