    bigsnow1-10

Here are some pictures of the snow from the big storm we got from 2 p.m. Friday until early Sunday morning,10 inches of it.A lot of blowing snow, near blizzard conditions. The snow piles on either side of the driveway are six feet high, and just about covering the outside light and nearly covering the tree. This winter n this area, just about to break a snowfall record for the entire winter, the previous record was set during the winter of 1938-1939 and that was nearly 83 inches. Also had a little freezing rain and Larry sister and husband who live around 5-10 miles east of here saw lightning and heard thunder.I did ours twice yesterday and 2 neighbors once each, today did all three again.to start today, had to clean a huge pile of snow that a snow plow left, shoved some from another street to right in front of our and then plowed it across the driveway, our next door neighbor, didn't have any across theirs. He had some friend of his with a big digger clean his out while he went snowmobiling.could have helped me.Another neighbor helped me clean out the front of his I did the rest.Since he was going out to get coffee for him and his wife(she is the one who had breast cancer)got me one also which was nice, then went and did another ladies driveway and came back and finished shoveling ours.By Thursday,is going up to 45 and rain.
thanks very much devon. I have been boo'd.

Barry!!!! That's a lot of snow! Good grief!!! I'm glad your driveway is clear and I'm glad you got a little Starbucks reward for all of your hard work! Hope things thaw out soon.

Oh my! Bet you had to shovel a path for Fritz, as well. We do shovel an area in the back yard for the pups, but the most we had this year was a 5 inch storm. Oh my, LOOK at it all! Glad you took photos to share it with us, thank you!
