Bad News

I just wanted to let everyone know that Zasper passed away last night. She was such a great cat, I'm going to miss her so much. I still haven't been able to stop crying and Corkscrew is acting pretty strange too. We both miss her so much.

so very sorry for your loss, I know what you are going thru, as does Muffin understand what your other kitty is feeling! I lost a cat earlier this year, and I still miss her, Muffin missed her alot too.

I'm so sorry to hear about poor Zasper.

Was she just old, or did she get sick?

She was only two years old. I guess I had her collar on too loose, her jaw got stuck in it. I feel so guilty like all of this is my fault. I feel like my baby died because of me. I didn't like keeping the collar on her, but she was always escaping. I just didn't want to lose her.

I am so sorry for your loss. I know how it feels to lose a pet that you love dearly. My old dog Gus, was only a puppy, and he got hit by a pick-up, and I actually saw it happen. Poor Zasper.

I'm so sorry about your loss. Accidents happen no matter how careful you are. Zasper knew more love in her short life than lots of cats ever know, all thanks to you. You now have a very special furry angel watching out for you. You will be together again some day. Prayers are with you.

thats right, accidents do happen. how did it happen? I mean, did it happen while you were away from home?

thats so awful, but it was not your fault I'm sure your kitty knew you loved him/her.

It happened when I was away from home. I came home to find her already passed on. Luckily my girlfriend was here with me, if not I wouldn't have known what to do. I'm feeling a little better now, I'm not crying as much. My girlfriend came over and we went to a video arcade so I could get my mind of things for a little while. It seemed to help. I did find the posts on pet loss. Thank you.
