I just heard a lovely song...called 'Dogsong'...by a group of 3
Vancouver-based girls called the Be Good Tanyas.
These girls include their own dog Sherpa on the list of
contributors to their music. His contribution is 'lovin' '! Sherpa's pic on their album 'Blue Horse' shows him to be big & sweet...no wonder they love him.
The Be Good Tanyas toured Britain recently & thanked all the people who'd
assisted them...including Charlie, a theatre owner's sheepdog,
who'd kept them company with cuddles before they went on
stage.
One of the girls wrote 'Dogsong' herself... "Cats are in the attics,
rats are on the wire...but dogs walk freely in the streets of our
dreams." Great words & music to play on doggie occasions.
