    Fister's brush...

... is really good, but it's about to fall apart. It's rubber and very bendable and he loves it. Only thing is, I can't get it where I bought it. Have you seen a similar one some place?

This is what it looks like:

Hmm, I can't tell what the material on the brush part is, from the photo.

I found a rubber one; a wire one; and a sisal one.

    Is that just brush bristles?

Here is the link for the sisal one.

I haven't seen that brush before either. Fister is certainly having a blissful experience. I can almost hear the purring. Trevor loves to be brushed too.

Randi I can get them here for a couple of euro each. If you would like I would be glad to pick you up a couple and sent them via snail mail. Just let me know.

Thank you everybody! Yes, Fister does enjoy his brushsing sessions in the morning.

I had a look at the links you posted Freedom, and in the second link, I think I found the one I'm using - it appears that this brush is actually meant for a horse. Will try to attach the image here. A pity it can't be enlarged

kittycats_delight, it's very sweet of you to offer to send me a couple, but it would be too expensive. I should try some more shops, or get them online.

    Hi Randi,

First let me say how adorable it is to see Fister enjoy his grooming sessions - such a content boy.

I haven't seen the particular brush you currently use however, I have been using a Zoom Groom on Eve and it's wonderful. Also a soft rubber it gently removes excess hair and massages her at the same time. It's easy to clean and doesn't scratch. The website below is a UK company that carries the Zoom Groom.

My vet recommended this product and I have been very happy with it. Hope this helps.

Mango and Peaches gave Filou and Tigris a Zoom Groom- it is soft and it is rubber- and they come as close to enjoying as they ever will (they will NOT enjoy it as much as Fister).
So you might want to try it.
