Papillons...

Hey all! I am taking a veternarian technician class along with school, and we bathed a few dogs today, one was a Papillon, named Rusty. He was the most gorgeous thing ever!!! I was talking to Rusty's mommy, (who is a teacher at the school I am taking the vet tech class at) and her daughter has been showing him in junior showmanship in our area. I had mentioned to her that I have wanted to show a dog for a LOOOONG time now, since I was little..... and I also told her how much I liked Papillons, I have always admired the breed. And she told me that her sister has a female due in March, but the litter won't be ready to go until May... I told her I was interested in talking to her more about showing, and the puppies. She wants me to stop by her classroom after class on Monday with some contact information! I am very excited. I know this is sooo sudden, but I really want to do this! Just thought I would share!

Good luck, that sounds like a great opportunity! I LOVE papillons! I groom a few at my work and they are just the sweetest little dogs.

I was trying to decide between Papillon and Bichon in the Fall of 2006. They are a wonderful dog! (Bichon rescue came through first.)
