    A Tree in Maryland (pics)

The minute I saw this tree on the ride to my brother's house, I knew it would make some fabulous pics. And I think I was right! The sky towards sunset was amazing. I about froze getting these but it was so worth it. It was in the middle of a corn field. I hiked a bit to get them. I hope you enjoy. I'm glad I got them because the next few days were cloudy.

I did the right thing by setting you free
But the pain is very deep.
If only I could turn back time, forever, you I'd keep.
    I miss you

I hear you whimper in your sleep
I gently pet you and say, no bad dreams
It will be alright, to my dog as dark as night.

Fur as dark as the night.
    Join me on this flight.
Paws of love that follow me.
In my heart you'll forever be.

How I wish I could hold you near.
Turn back time to make it so.
Hug you close and never let go.

    Stunning!

The 3rd one looks like the sky was painted in using a dabbing technique. and the last one, you can "see" the brush strokes!

But the first one, awesome! (Just needs a little doggie trotting in from the right . . . . well, this IS PT! )

Thank you for making the effort, you got some great shots!

    Lovely!

There's a tree like that around here. I used to drive by and be in awe of its beauty, complete with rolling hills of farmland behind it. I always wanted to photograph that tree. I wish I had.... there's a Super Walmart behind it now

Great pictures, Val! You do have an eye for seeing something most people would have looked right past!
