    Birthday Girl!


    JAN 25th...11 yrs. young!
    WISHING MY STAR A
    VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY!


    A few pictures from our birthday walk on the beach...
    The ocean is so soothing, the dogs never tire of watching the waves and sniffing the shells & seaweed....


    ....................


    ...but they do get pretty annoyed with me trying to get them to "pose" for pictures! LOL!
    "Alright, enough already! Get that thing out of my face, please!"


    "I'll pose for you, mom! I'll even sing you a song!"


    I thought this was so neat-- a "mini-beach" in a shell! Jack nearly stepped right on it, but his pawprint turned out to be a nice touch.


    Star went for a checkup on Wed - she's nice & healthy, although she has lost 9 lbs. since last summer. (Went from 53 lbs. down to 44 lbs.) The vet said she's all fur - could hardly get through that thick coat to check her out! We're grateful that Jack has brought a little spice back into her life. She's been eating pretty well lately, and I'm sure she'll enjoy her birthday dinner tonight (Salmon & Frosty Paws! ). We'll post a couple pics of that later.

    Happy Birthday, Star! =)

    Star is SUCH a beautiful girl... I can't believe she is 11! She looks so much younger, and she looks like she's in awesome shape. The pictures of her and her little bro on the beach are really pretty. I hope Star has a fun day, she deserves it.

    I am a sucker for beach pictures. I just love the beach. The second picture is awesome. Oh Star......look at what is behind you! I remember having Ripley on the beach one day. He was so interested in sniffing at some seaweed he got quite a surprise when the surf came up and wet his curls.
