Chuck looks like he has some sort of Eye infection. I would get him to a vet ASAP. I had a wild duck that I was caring for get something like that, and he shortly passed away!

Your ducks are cute by the way.
    Maggie,

I didn't slap you, I just high fived your Face!

    THE END!

Maggie - Thanks for the info. I wish I could take him to the vet, but I'm not sure my parents would go for it. I guess I won't know unless I ask, though.

Your ducks are very cute! I would definatly talk to your parents about taking Chuck to a vet. I couldn't sit and watch an animal suffer like that.

If they will not ge him the help he needs, than he needs to be surrendered to the local(no Kill) animal shelter so he can get the care he needs. Birds get sick and die very quickly!

I cannot look a him without wanting to cry!

from my expeiance the Meds are not that expensive, i thnk I paid maybe 10$ at the most.

I rescued a duck from the park that looked like that. Her eyes were cleared right up when I gave her some Terramycin. I got it at my local feed store for just a few dollars. http://www.barnworld.com/sa/p/TERRAMYCIN_SOLUBLE.htm
