    this confirms my suspicion ... I can afford to live where I do now, but I can't afford to move to a nicer building in the same area (one with covered parking and maybe an in-apartment laundry room) unless I earn a lot more money. I'm kinda stuck. I'd have to move pretty far away from Chicago to get what I want at a price I can afford. Oh, well.

    Well, the population figures aren't correct. I checked my city (East Providence) and the city in Mass. where I grew up. Both are WAY too low.
