    Emma and the well (pics)

It was a cold and sunny day today, and Emma and I went to a well because I need the water for the Bachflower remedies (for the cats). Emma, who seems to be over the loss of Rocky now, had a lot of fun with the water fountain coming from the well.

BTW, she refused to eat the other day. My mother and Reinhold already got worried, when they realized what was wrong: Her food bowl was on Rocky's place (the place were usually his food bowl stood), and she did not dare to eat there. It hit my mother when she saw Emma eventually "stealing" some meat from the bowl and running away with it to her hiding place. She was scared to eat in Rocky's place from a bowl which she thought was his, just as if he would come around the corner the next moment. Poor girl!!

She really is still a cutie pie. I love the splashes in the last picture; it looks cool. Yes, dogs do understand the sense of territory very well. She will probably think of that as Rocky's spot for a very long time.

Oh Emma, lo, that looks like FUN! I knew a dog who did that with the water coming out of the garden hose, always snap - snap, trying to catch it, hee. Glasd to see she had such a nice trip with you.

Funny and also sad that she was afraid to eat from Rocky's spot.

Emma is looking well. Such a beautiful pup. That's funny That she
didn't want to take Rocky's spot for eating. Maybe she's saving it for him.

She is just beautiful!! What a pretty girl. The story about her not eating from Rocky's place is incredible. I can imagine that she did think he might come around the corner any minute. Awwwww.

Oh that first picture is stunning! She really is a beautiful girl.

I really loved hearing the story of the bowl. She's getting over him being gone, but hasn't forgotten him

Beautiful pictures - that 's a really neat well font! Emma is so cute - love her trying to bite the water.
She's likely to consider that Rocky's place for a long time. Star grieved Sherman by lying in his spot, she stopped eating too. She lost about 4 lbs. She spent weeks curled up on the comforter they both shared on their couch rather than lying on her own doggie bed, with her back to us, staring at the wall. It was so sad.
I'm glad to hear Emma is already bouncing back & enjoying life again. She's a young dog, she's got a lot of living to do! Thanks for posting pictures & an update.

cyber-sibes, that is so sad about Star! Hope she's over her grief meanwhile! It must have been so heartbreaking to watch!

Emma is really such a cute girl! Today, I've been decorating the Christmas Tree at my mother's place, and Emma was with me and she was having a blast!
