Today was Jackie Loo's 3rd Birthday!!
It's extremely hard to believe the baby of the family is three already. It has been an eventful three years to say the least.
We already had four Hoodlums and really had no intentions of adding another dog to the pack. One day my mom was getting guinea pig food at the local petstore and fell in love with a little black dog that was up for adoption. She called home to tell me of the little black lab that she found and I just laughed and told her that she was crazy. Little did I know that the little black dog she spoke of was about to change my life.
I couldn't ask for a better dog for me. He's my cuddle buddy, running partner, guardian, companion, agilty teammate, and the love of my life. I couldn't imagine not having him around. While I love each and every one of my dogs Jack has a special place in my heart. Going away to college has been one of the hardest things for both of us and when I am home now I cherish the time we spend together just a little more. It has definitely helped me to become closer to him.
