    Puttin' up da tree

Do ya mind if I check da box Mum??? Wanna make sure dat der's no branches left behind...

    Gotta check da bottom

    Gotta check over dis side

Looks all clear to me Mum. I tink I'll tak a nap while you do all da hard wurk.

Looks nice Mum but I'll have to check it out

Can you see me???? Look closer.

Hmmmm, der's a nice place here

    Yup, passes my inspekshun.

I'm so happy that he decided to do this. Speckles used to be my furry present and her favourite place was under the tree. I miss her so much this time of year.

There are about 850 lights on my tree so Max must be gettin' some warmth.

    Furry Christmas everyone!

Prince Max, I am so pleased to see that your slave keeps up with things and sets them up properly! He hee. And you look smashing under that lovely tree -- just the RIGHT finishing touch!

Just this evening Don and I were sitting looking at the tree when something began to move beneath it!

Edwina has always loved to sit under the tree. She thinks it makes an excellent decoration/fort/hiding place/fashion accessory.

Obviously a trait she and Max share!

How cute The tree looks great! I can't wait to put mine up, my guys also like to hang out under the tree and destroy the presents. So we have to hide all the gifts and then we bring them out for decoration when we have our annual christmas party, then again on Christmas so we can open them!

Max sure is a great box and tree inspector. I'm glad to see that he approves of your beautiful Christmas tree.

I used to put up a fake tree before I had cats but I haven't put it up since I adopted Storm so I decided to donate it to Goodwill. No tree or ornament would last in household.

Rats! I can't see the photos. I don't belong to shutterfly, maybe that's the problem?

I was in bed last night, after my final posting, when Don called me to come down to the living room.

He said..."now both of them are under the tree!"

Each had staked claims to one side.

I guess Eddie heard that Max thought it an okay, guylie thing to do so he joined Edwina!

When I saw the first picture of the box, I thought it would be twice as high as you are long Max. What a beautiful tree! I don't think I've ever seen one with so many lights on.

Max, I spotted you in that first tree picture you know, but of course, I knew exactly where to look. You did a good job making sure the box was totally emptied and I'm sure your mom appreciates your help. Now enjoy your spot under the tree!

Slick, I hope you'll sit back with a well deserved drink in your hand and enjoy it!

    Your tree looks Great!

I have everything except my tree up, I don't want it keep it up for too long because SOMEONE in my house pees on it!!

That is a beautiful tree. Can you send Max down here to help me, I would like my tree to look like that, and I am pretty sure Max magic helped.

Thank you everyone for your kind comments. I admit that I just love my tree. She (and I refer to her as a female) was not put up last year because of my cancer recovery so I missed her last year.

When Max finishes his dinner he once again becomes my furry present. He's done this for a few nights now and I just love it. I look forward to seeing everyone else's tree.

Max is now 14 and shows absolutely no interest in presents, or climbing, or whacking the ornaments, or peeing.... All he wants to do is lie there and get some serious Z-z-z-z-s.

GM: I'll ask Max if he wants to do some travelling. He's pretty much a home-body but I think the change in scenery will do him good.

ES: So glad to hear that the E's have come to an agreement that "tree adorning" can be shared.

Randi: What can I say, except...you bet I did!! Had one for you too!
