I was mopping the floor and Quinn was playing in her walker. I walked out of the living room that she was playing in and walked into the kitchen where she could no longer see me and she started whining and fussing and then clearly cried out, "Maa Maa". Both my hubby and I heard it, it was amazing. Then later in the morning, as Quinn got fussy and ready for her afternoon nap, I gave her to my hubby while I got more cleaning done and she clearly didn't want to be held by him...she wanted to be held by me and only me. She cried as I walked off and then clearly said again, "Maa Maa".
I am so touched that she said mama first. She is deffinatelly a momma's girl and always has been. My little girl is growing up so quick!
There's also a couple videos. One is of her crawling and one is of her standing up on her own. Unfortunately I don't have a video of her saying her first word, as I didn't know it was coming so I didn't have my camera handy
