The BEST seat in the house --

is ALWAYS taken when you have 12 pets!

The loveseat is ALWAYS busy, even though THEY don't need the recliners (both sides recline). Usually it is Sugar and Lacey:


Sometimes the cats also like the loveseat:


The sofa is QUITE comfortable:


So is mommy's bed= Cuddles:

Ozzy can't get up and down himself. But if he has been sitting with me and I get up planning to return quickly, he will wait in MY recliner:


And once in a VERY great while, a pet bed is the BEST! At least, for Ozzy:


Sugar still prefers Dad's recliner!

They are all so cute, you can't mind letting them have the best seats in the house. My parents had a beagle that would literally push her snout behind you and keep pushing her way in further and further until she pushed off the couch so she could curl up in the corner with the pillows. It didn't matter which end you were sitting on, that was the end she wanted.

Thanks, everyone. I love the "battle of the butts," we've started using the phrase now!

We haven't resorted to sitting on the floor; YET. Fortunately, everyone, cat and dog, is a lap pet, so with a little consoling they quickly settle on our laps.

Ahaha those pictures are so great. But I know where you are coming from, difference we only have four critters to take up our furniture. My father plays battle of the butts with my cat Bobo sometimes lol you'll have to just start sitting on them and see if they'll move after that...haha just kidding don't sit on them lol

These are so sweet! If you want the best seat in the house you'll have to move someone. Sugar and Lacey, you might slide over a bit and let your granddad share, since it's his chair And Cuddles is giving a look I know well ... "If you want to sleep on this bed you'll have to contort yourself around me!"

The same problem is felt here! I don't mind. :] I'd rather take a seat on the floor than fight for a comfortable spot.
