    Star & Jack go walking

    Wooooos, PT,
Jack & I go on some interesting walks around here, and thought we'd share a few pictures with you.
    At the resevoir-

there's a lot of fresh water on one side...

...and a salt marsh on the other side. That's the Atlantic ocean in the background!

And here's the puppyhead posing pretty on the shore of the resevoir side...(He's such a camera hog. I look the other way every time so they don't keep bugging me with that thing.)

And this past weekend, we walked on a new "green-way". It goes right by a big pasture, where we stopped to watch some cows...Jack & I are planning how to take one of those bad boys down one day. But we have to wait till they turn off the electric fence, cause I got too close & it bite me! Right on my ear- ouch! Don't worry, I'm ok.

Since Mr. Jack is such a camera hog, here's a picture of him from the other morning. Mom says you guys on PT will like it cause he looks so cute. I guess he is kinda cute now that his coat's grown back nice & thick. I decided he can stay a while longer, since he's being nicer to me.

Mom's been letting me blog, so if you want to know the latest things we're up to, click on our blog link once in a while.

Wooos, Star! It looks like you are learning some of the country in your "new" home. Lots of things to see and investigate. Just pay attention when Mom tells you "back" so you don't get that ear caught again by the electric fence! Cows for you and Jack? Awesome! Such beautiful weather, thanks for sharing about your walking adventures. I am GLAD to hear Jack is "growing" on ya, he he. You need to make sure you get equal time in front of that box thing, dear. Thanks for posting your photos!

PS I hear there are horses on parts of that new "green-way" keep an eye out!

Oh, Star what prettty places you get to walk now! And cows, wow! Glad you and Jack are getting along better. Stay away from those electric fences, sweetie, we don't want you hair to get singed!

Oh. I'll send Jack in first to check which one's got antlers.

No no, nothing happened. It's a husky thing. He was pretty skinny-lookin' and bristly when he got here, cause he'd just blown coat. And mom got even more bagfuls more of fur off him. Now he's grown new undercoat & looks fuller & feels softer.

What a pretty place to walk. So are you settling in nicely to your new home, sweetie? New home and new brother in such a short time is a lot for a girl to deal with. I think you are very brave. And that last picture of Jack is absolutely dreamy. Definitely a man to keep around.

    Woooos again PT,
We wish we could take you all with us on a walk with us, too!
We hear we are going to some pic-nic with other huskies this weekend, so we'll have more pictures of another new place! And, I heard we are going to meet up there with PT's Mayor! I think we'll have to keep our leashes on at this park, but maybe we'll find something interesting to get into anyway. I'm sure you-know-who will....that means more pictures of him in center stage. We'll keep you posted!
Husky-mom, we think Mexico would be very interesting place to walk! Maybe one of these days...

Thanks for the lovely pictures of the walk. Looks like a great place to
discover things & see neat places. Both Star & Jack seemed to be fascinated
with the cows in the field. Mine would too I'll bet.

I am glad Jack has settled in very well & It's good to hear that. Hugs to
    Star and Jack.
