Quinn meets a horse!

I went to the new park today (we just moved and there's a huge, lovely park across the street) and when headed back home I was surprised to see a girl out riding a horse. Our walk and photo shoot went so well, the meeting of a horse was just icing on the cake!

It was pretty warm out, about 80 degrees, and SOOO sunny, so I made Quinn wear a hat to protect her a bit from the sun. It didn't work so well, but at least she looked cute.

Now for the horsey pics. This magnificant animal was the most mellow, sweet horse. He was only 4 years old and he's for sale I REALLY wish I could have bought him. He was absolutely gorgeous. He was a Tenn. Walker gelding. For only being 4 years old, he was incredible. I hope Quinn loves horses as much as I do.

I didn't worry about Quinn being on the horse at all. The horse was incredibly mellow and gentle.

She liked the horse a lot, but she wasn't sure about a stranger holding her. She's sometimes nervous about other people she doesn't know holding her. She was quite smiley at the horse until she was being held by a stranger, then she got a little worried when I handed her off and backed away to snap the shot
