    Keeva goes herding... again!

Kee tried out sheep again. She didn't necessarily fail her first test, as her evaluator saw some instinct, but she just wasn't confident enough to really take on the sheep for more than a few seconds. She was 5 months old when she first tried. She'll be a year old at the end of the month so I figured now would be a good time to try!

She was AMAZING! Her evaluator said she's probably the best Malinois she has seen on sheep. I hadn't planned on trialing with her but Shelley said she'd definitely do it if Keeva was hers.. she has lots of potential. We're going back to a herding clinic at the end of the month to start some training I can't wait! It was great seeing her do so well as something she was born to do!

So now that Keeva has passed her herding instinct certification, she's now "Komplete Khaos HIC"

There's also a video of her herding here:

Kai also tried out sheep but decided herding was not his forte.

Great pics! You should totally trial with her. I wish there were better classes around here so I could trial. Sigh, one day.

Wow, Ashley! She did FANTASTIC! And it's only her second time? I would definitely put money into training and trialing with her! She'll be a star!!!!

That is awesome, Ashleyyy! : D

Keeva looks like a natural... she looks very controlled and comfortable, which is pretty amazing for her second time. I for one have never ever seen a Malinois on sheep before! I hope she got lots of coookies for being such a good girl.

LOL! Okay, but only if you'll take my grumpy, poo-rolling, Sheltie too. Kaedyn thought it'd be hysterical if he rolled in the poo-mud around the pen.

Wwo, what a difference a little maturity made, huh? Trialing will be great for both of you, working together!

Way to go Keeva! She looks like a maned wolf in the first pic, which I think are particularly pretty.
