Help me find a new home....

    Hey everybody. It's Ramone here.
Remember how I told you guys that I was adopted by a nice family? Well it turns out that it's not as nice as it seems. Turns out in fact that my new mom makes a living torturing dogs!!! How do I know?? Because today I found out first hand. My mom said something about how she just couldn't stand it anymore.... and the next thing I know......

    torture!!!!

Mom says I was very very good at being tortured. I hope that doesn't mean she's gonna torture me a lot....

Oh she also wanted me to show you guys all the hair that's not gonna end up on her carpets....

And that doesn't include the pile of hair I left in the tub. Doesn't she know I was saving all that hair??

So anyways... if you hear of a home that needs a rottweiler and doesn't torture dogs please let me know.

    *Thanks Ashley*

I bet you're glad to have him nice and clean now, with hopefully a little less hair all over your carpet. There's not much worse than Rottweiler hair all over everything! It was torture day for Morgan too today and she looked just about as happy as Ramone.

    Has he settled in well?

But you're welcome to come live with us anyway!

I'm so glad! I don't have to wash my hands after petting him. And I can bury my face in his neck and he doesn't smell. It's awesome. As for him settling in, well it's only been a week. I've never had to do this introduction of an adult dog into my household before. It's been very stressfull. I am very anxious for Sue to meet him. I think I will take him there on Sunday.
He is doing well, but he is dog reactive while on leash. And I don't know how to introduce him to the cats. I'm outta my league I think. *sigh*

Awwwe... Poor Ramone! I'd take you in in a heart beat. But you know what... I torture too. All Good doggy parents do. And I hate to inform you, but it's not supposed to be torture... It's called a bath. They're good for you. They can get all sorts of nasty stuff out of your fur and off your skin that can make you sick or uncomfortable.

As time goes on you'll find that baths aren't so bad.

Just tell Mum to give you LOT of treats! Maybe you can even talk her into giving you steak on bath days I'm rooting for you pal.

Please, if your dog is arthritic look into getting it Elk Velvet Antler. Look up my posts on it, PM me, or look it up on a search engine; but please if you love your dog and want it to live many more years consider this option. I've seen so many posts on here about dogs needlessly suffering. I can't make a new post about EVA every time so this plea is going here. EVA also helps with other ailments such as anemia.

Ramone, you poor, poor dear! Sugar and Lacey will be looking for a new place right along with you this afternoon; they are currently at the groomer's for the torture treatment!

You poor baby. But your mommy is only doing what's best for you. Even if you don't think so. We torture Zoee occasionally as well sometimes. We even let someone else (a professional) torture her sometimes. But in the end we get a beautiful clean puppy. Which is exactly what you are Ramone!!
Our goal in life should be - to be as good a person as our dog thinks we are.

Thank you for the siggy, Michelle!
