I'm not sure what is going on for us that weekend yet, but it might be possible. Don't think we'd make it at at 10am, but maybe before the walk at 10:30!

Forgot to ask what time you plan on getting there. I HIGHLY doubt we'll make it there for opening.

    http://www.eatoncountyparks.org/FitzgeraldPark.htm

Says there is a $2 parking fee. Does this hold for this event too? (I just have to ask... Where i come from parking is always free. Now that I'm getting out and vacationing i'm finding out that's not so in the rest of the world ...Now i know to look before heading somewhere. It's nice to be prepared with cash for this stuff... which S.O. never carries on him otherwise.)

Also, I looked up directions and the park is on the North side of 43. Nearest major crossroad is Lawson Rd. to the west.

Please, if your dog is arthritic look into getting it Elk Velvet Antler. Look up my posts on it, PM me, or look it up on a search engine; but please if you love your dog and want it to live many more years consider this option. I've seen so many posts on here about dogs needlessly suffering. I can't make a new post about EVA every time so this plea is going here. EVA also helps with other ailments such as anemia.

It is about a 2 hours drive for me, so probablly about 2.3-3 hours longer then it takes to get to Findlay.

Crow, I'm not sure about a parking fee, I don't ever remember paying one but I'll check with my mom. Kimmy might also know.

And Robin, I would love to hang out with you! It's further north than the bark park you came to so it'd be a little longer trip :/

Amy, that would be awesome if you could come!

A small request of anyone attending.

If you take pictures that have S.O. and/or myself in them and want to post them publicly (on the forum) please white out/blur our faces before doing so. (If you don't know how I'll be more than happy to do so and post the pics for you.)

Looks like i won't be able to head to the dog park after.

I have to meet up for some business with Koli's other fosterer and there's a narrow window of time where we can meet up to take care of it. The LATEST we can scadaddle from Grand Ledge/Lansing is 1PM

At least I'll get to meet y'all and hang out for it a tiny bit!!!

(UGH!!! I hate being up this late, but the computer was totally fritzing, and it took me over five hours to save something i had been working on, then it took another hour to shut down, boot up, and get back online. ...I had to do some next to last minute checking on stuff for the run/walk/fundraising event/meet up and posting... I know i won't be alert enough in the morning and it would take me twice as long.)

Well I'm at work now *bummer!* and am uploading my pictures.

What a perfect day. I just wish I could of spent more time with everyone.

It was great seeing Ashley and Amy again and really cool to meet Dorothy and Crow.

I hope everyone had as much fun as we did and made it safely home!

I had a good time and it was GREAT meeting all of you that made it out there. Of couse i had fun meeting your furries (and a few extras ;-) )

I don't know what happened, but i swear i left my personality at home. I think i bored myself with how dull i was Saturday. *rolling eyes*

You know how i said we had to meet up with Koli's other foster home... we got stopped by a train TWICE on the way there... and were already running late. On top of that S.O. was in the wrong lane and ended up taking 96 East (instead of 69 East.) (OMG!!! There was a confusing sign... I'm partially number dyslexic and here is this sign board with six signs... all for 96 and 69!!!)

k9krazee already knows... the alarm got set for the wrong time and we were late to the gathering. I'm thinking my personality wasn't the only thing left at home... I think my whole brain was... And i still haven't found it.

I still can't believe how STRONG Mini is. She pulled about half as hard as Koli does!

Great pictures over on the other thread everyone! Really captured the essence of fun that the pooches were having!

OMG that had me grining like crazy that Cincy's Mom took a picture of the Chinese Cresteds. Those were the first two that i ever got to meet in real life.
