Can you tell more about this bird? Is it native to your area, or to the tropics? Does it fly? So far I haven't any idea, but with more info, you never know!

It was at a flea market being sold by a farmer who had chickens and pigeons, looked like a hawk in a pigeon suit

Well, the pigeon hawk is used in falconry. So I looked at a bunch of web sites for falconry. Didn't see any name close to whay you put. Only short name I saw was the gyr (gyr falcon).Originally Posted by IRescue452
