This chick at work thinks I'm pregnant. BTW the convo that goes on are actually the only people I work with another girl and a guy so I'm not worried about it getting around and I'm 99% sure she'll even forget this by tomorrow because well she's a ditz, a huge one at that. Anyways I found it pretty amusing and wanted to share. BTW they call me Maggie at work, I don't know why though.
So today at work I had taken my sweatshirt off and thought my stomach looked a bit bloated in my tee. So I asked a coworker what she thought.. it kind of went like this.
Me: Do I look fat?
Her: OMG Maggie!
Me: No I mean look at my stomach does it look bigger?
Her: Why, are you pregnant?!
Me: Uhh no
Her: Are you serious?
Me: Pretty sure, yea
At this point I was walking away from her to the bathroom
Her: Are you running away because your scared to answer me?!
Me: NOOOOO!!
after I came out of the bathroom I walked up to her
Me: I swear I'm not pregnant
Her: Are you sure honey?
Me: Yea I think I would know if I got pregnant
Her: So whats wrong then?
And I proceed to tell her why I thought I was bloated and whatnot
Her: Hmm those sound like symptoms!
Me: Whatever...
Then awhile later I tell my friend/the restuarant owner's son and told him what had happened
him: OMG Megan you should tell her that you're pregnant and you don't know who the mother is!
Me: umm yea that doesn't make any sense
Him: exactly, you know it'll confuse her!
Me: I'm not telling her that!
Then I walk up to the girl again
Her: Maggie seriously you aren't pregnant?
Me: Yea I am, ok
Her: Do you have a boyfriend?!
Me: No
Her: What happened then
Me: You know how it works..
Then the guy goes up to the coworker and says
Him: So I hear Megan's pregnant
Her: OMG no she isn't!!
Her: Maggie, you're pregnant?!
Me: sure
Anyways if she doesn't forget by tomorrow, I'm sure she will though, then I'm just going to have to be as blunt as I possibly can that I'm NOT pregnant. Seriously I'm not.
Moral: Never ask if you look fat, You end up pregnant
