Painting I have been working on. (of a beagle) FINISHED!!

On friday, I finished a painting of a landscape finally and wanted to start a new one, so I chose to do a dog. As a reference picture, I chose a pic of my friend's dog Hobbes. I started it last night and I am not finished yet, but very close. Just wanted to know what you'll think of it. I have some pics of the progressing work.
Keep in mind this is only my SECOND painting I've done so it's really not that good.

Basic sketch ^


Painted black on the top and the whole belle is painted white. ^ can't see the white considering the canvas paper is white.


Brown area painted. ^


Some small details like the pupils and mouth^


FINALLY, starting to look more like a dog lol. ^ Ears and shoulder painted.

I finished it. I know it's not perfect and it doesn't exactly look like the Original picture, but I think it looks pretty good for a beginner.

It adorable!! It doesn't look all that much like Hobbes but it is adorable and looks like his marking and such.
