what if people acted like cats?

can you imagine what it would be like if we acted like cats?( well the world would be better off probably )

In the morning, we would wake up then jump on someones stomach, or head!
and meow if necessary til they got up, then its time for breakfast, eat 3 bites then get pushed away from your food, then look at the server like, hey what happend?? stare at them til more food appears.
bathtime... lick hand, rub face, repeat 20 times! then stick your leg up in the air and wash other places...
playtime...run across the room, over the furniture, knock down a thing or two on the way, sharpen your nails on the carpet post, then run 100 miles an hour back the way you came, scaring all others in house! (others are now in that "jump and freeze where you are" stance)
naptime....lick yourself for 10-15 minutes, then decide this is not the place for your nap, and go crowd in on someone elses nap place! be sure to growl at them when they swat at you!
....wake up from nap, jump straight down, ignoring the steps, and go eat.
time to explore the house, and see whats going on... oh, there's someone using the bathroom ... must crouch and jump at them! oh FUN! hehe, now chase the scared one down the hall, and up the stairs. ok now let them chase you! weeee!
tired now, need another nap, curl up with other cat, earlier hissing all forgotten.
need some fresh air, go sit in front of door til someone sees you and opens it... wait 3 minutes til they are seated and comfortable then scratch at the door to come back in...time to attack another cat and chase them under the couch, then wait there thumping your tail, they have to come out sometime!
this is boring, time for a bath...as you lick your back, with your arm straight out and moving slightly... in comes someone new, and you slowly approach him and hiss, and growl! ( heck of a way to greet a guest or new coworker!) you chase new guy down the hall, then time for nap.

nap is over, time to eat... you gobble all your food so you can go eat all the food of the guy next to you! (great manners, Im sure you will be invited back to the next dinner party!)

time to look out the window, and jump against the glass everytime you see something out there!

lets not forget to tip over our water dish a few times a week, then spill our food into the spilled water! and you will have to occasionally get locked in a kitchen cupboard or hall closet!
meow while people search for where the meow is coming from!
scowl at them for taking too long, and then scurry away when they try to pick you up!dumb humans!

    have I forgotten anything?

This is so true, touchcookie. Although the way you describe there is much more action than there is at our house, but I'm sure that's because you have kittens and I have seniors. A day at our house goes more like wake up and head to kitchen for medicine and treat. Hit the couch for the day. About 6:00 pm or so get up because Mom is home. Beg for dinner, check out the backyard action, then hit the couch for a nap. 10:00 pm it's bedtime. I'm sure there's some eating and bathing mixed in there too, but it's mostly sleeping and begging.

You summed up a typical day quite nicely - but what about those special occasions?

If the human attempts to wrap a gift, jump on the paper and shread it.

Knock Christmas ornaments off of the tree.

If the human is wearing especially nice clothes for a special occasion, be sure to brush up against him or her and shed some fur - preferably with out their noticing it.

    I'm sure there's more that I'm missing.

    CUTE Thread!!!!

It would be so nice to have the life of a cat....so relaxing! I don't think I'd like the litter box part though!
