    Precious behaving NOT so preciously!

What makes this sweet little fluffer nutter kitty go from being exactly what her name implies, into a screaming, shrieking, flying ball of attack cat?!

I thought she'd mellow out, get relaxed. Just get used to being in the house and feel comfy and safe. Well, in a room on her own she does well, but man, if I go to put her in my bedroom where there's AC, and there are a few hiding in here already, WATCH OUT! She becomes this totally opposite personality! Just 30 minutes ago I went to put her in my bedroom for the night, and didn't know there were other kitties in here. I plunked her on the floor, turned around to close the door, and the most possessed shrieking came out of her little body and she chased three of my kitties out from under the bed and down the hallway! She knocked over the ironing board and the iron in the spare room, she had poor Finae running into the ladder setting by the doorway... she was just possessed!!!

Looking at her now, she is the picture of serenity. You'd never guess she just puffed up to twice her size, made me a bloody scratched up mess (even my feet), and was such a wild cat!!

Anyone have any experience with this type of cat personality?? I'm taking her to Adoption Day on Sunday (she was in the adoption center for about 3 weeks before and has been with me for about a month). I'm hoping she can get a home alone, but geez.. I'm afraid she'll scare everyone to death!!!

    This face is just beguiling!

Here the ears may give it away....

She really needs to be an only cat, I think.

In her own room, she is ok, and ok with you also, I would guess.

Other cats just freak her out.

I hope she gets to be an only child.

Some cats just need to be only kitties. My parents cat was like this. She also only loved them and no one else. I hope that she'll be able to find the purrfect home.

I've only had experience w/cats that don't like specific other cats. For ex: Peeka hated Pidge. She'd attack her every chance she got. But thankfully, I've not had your experience. Sounds like Precious needs precious time alone in a one cat household. Good luck.
    Blessings,
    Mary

I'm thinking for an apartment dweller who is allowed one pet only.

Precious needs to be an only kitty. When you take her to Adoption Day, make sure the people who may want to adopt her have no cats. Good luck!
Thank you so much for my siggy, kittycats_delight!
