My Betta Mosley

Hi, about 2 days ago i went to the super wall-mart to get some computer games and with my extra cash i bouth a dark blue betta,which i named mosley,a tank,a little cave,and some food,and mosley wont eat!is there something wrong with him or is it the food i bought WARDLEY ESSENTIALS BETTA FOOD will you please help me?and if you have had troubles with this brand plz tell me!and other brands and methods of feeding mosley to look out for? andmethods and brands that would be good,keep in mind mosley is young and kinda small

Try buying new food for him and maybe he will eat. Hopefully he will start to eat soon! Good luck and keep us updated.

Sometimes it just takes a little while for fish to get accustomed to their new home. Is he acting fine? As long as he's swimming around, and not acting lethargic, then I wouldn't worry just yet.

Sometimes when new fish of mine aren't too keen on eating in the first few days, I toss in a few freeze dried bloodworms(you can get them at wal-mart). I've never had a betta refuse them.

Did he have white fuzzy stuff on him? (I think that's ich, isn't it? )

But I don't buy bettas from Wal-Mart anymore anyways, they don't last very long .

Yes he is eating perfectly and when i give him his daily snack he plays a game with it! he pushes it around the tank, its so funny!and hes much more active and cute,

Just a thought - did you clean the tank etc out before putting your new betta in? I don't know much about fish, so this may not be necessary, but just thought i'd mention it.

well the day mosley died i was out and i bought a new betta kit with a new tank,food,some rocks,water cleamer,betta medicing,and a aqua plant,and mosley didnt go in that one so i let stanley use it

hey guys i thought you micht want an update, well the pics moght not come as soon as i thought and stanley knows when its feeding time cuz when i pull out the food and shake it he swims up to the top and opens his mouth,and he only eats flakes for some reason,also yesterday i bought some sea monkeys(brine shrimp) as pets but is it true that bettas like brine shrimp? if so maybe once a month he will got one

Hey!! I'm new to PT!! Now, about your Betta fish! They eat freeze-dried bloodworm, live baby guppies, frozen blood worms or brine shrimp! Hope this helps! I have had betas for a long time and I know!!
