    Golden Retrievers:
Someone to look longingly into your eyes,
to sit and snuggle while watching tv,
to keep you company while you cook,
to come to comfort you when you are sad or cry,
to take a walk or ride in the car with,
to talk to you when the whole world doesn't seem right,
to tell exciting news or secrets to, especially when no one else is around,
to swim with you in the ocean, and help you dig holes in the sand,
to love you like you love them,
    and so many more.

I'm with Jasper's Mom on this one. Just couldn't get my words right, so I'll agree with her!
Golden Retrievers are perfect as companions for children and adults.

I agree about the Golden Retriever. St. Bernard's for finding lost people and climbing and hauling. Dalmation for a watch dog. Chawawa (spelling) for keeping you company.
