i have a turtle named captin ned.and one morning i woke up and didn't find him in the cage! i looked all over the place and fially found him hiding under some cushins!!!why is he doing this? he must have fallin about 2 feet to the ground!!

Maybe he was trying to explore. Do you let him walk around the house at times?

how very stange. my friend margaret has a turtle named speedy and he did the x-act same thing. she even found him under the cushions lol. just the natural need to x-plore so let him run around frequently. wild turtles never stay in their pond indeffinetly. some love to go on adventures around. make sure he's not cracked on his shell. and if he starts acting weird then make sure to get him checked out. shell probs are very big and serious.
