Unique funeral poem....written by the deceased!

Today I played the funeral of a wonderful man. I never knew him, but he was born in 1913. He served in WWII, came back to his family, and his son was killed in 1949. He had lost his wife, remarried, and raised several more children.

To hear his grandchildren speak today, you knew he was very involved with them...when the bagpipes started at the end, one man my age was just red-faced with tears that wouldn't stop. All his grandkids were moved, as were his kids.

In the back of the order of service, a short handwritten poem was scanned; it was the deceased's (George). He was 93 when he died, and this was found in his room after he passed away:

"When I quit this mortal shore
And mosy round this earth no more
    Don't weep, don't sigh, don't grieve, don't sob
I may have found a better job

Don't go and buy a large bouquet
For which you'll find it hard to pay
Don't stand around me looking blue
I may be better off than you."

I think I would have liked George! Rest easy, sir - ya done good.
