    Learning Weaves (almost there!!)

I think Ivy finally "gets" how to weave. We're doing the weave-a-matic style, and we're up to 3 slanted + 3 straight poles now! Here's a little timeline:

    Today!

(The last 3 poles look off kilter because the ground isn't stable)

Sorry, just wanted to share my excitement

That's awesome!! It really does look like she knows what she's doing!

I think she has it well enough that I'd start working on weave pole entrance -from every angle, you in different positions (in front of her, lagging behind, etc). But she looks great, keep up the good work!

Looking good, it looks like she's getting the hang of them and almost has her footwork down.

I'm still doing a ton of foundation work with Kiz and slowly building towards putting him on equipment.

Thanks Amy for the great sig!

What a good girl!! Weaves are so hard to train >.< It took my girls months of practice to get them well enough. She's coming along great!

    Thanks!

We're still working on a lot of foundation skills, too, but there's just something intimidating about weaves so I wanted Ivy to tackle it head on from Day 1. Today, she's up to 4 straight poles with the entrance being slanted. Sooo excited to add more poles!
