FLOODING and heavy rain in Alberta and BC

This is just one pic from the news today...I'll post a couple more. A well known street collapsed over 8 blocks after the rain washed away the gravel underneath.

Anyone from BC or AB got more pics?

I found a few on the internet of BC. The river is rising steadily now, we should see flooding by Sunday. My husband, father and brother work at a sawmill right beside the river. They could be out of work for weeks.

Gosh, ladies. Here we are in the SE United States, suffering with a drought, and you have flooding. I do hope and pray that people will be safe and the damage won't be too great.

    Thanks, Logan.

No one hurt so far - two people in Calgary were struck by lightening, but they have non-life-threatening injuries. But everyone's alive.

There was a mudslide in Terrace, BC that clamied the lives of a couple in their 60's. They were trapped beneath all the mud. It very scary, especially considering a lot of the people won't have places to go if and when the flood hits.
