Today, May 31, is the birthday of my adorable and mischievous little Chihuahua - Spanky!

You've added joy, humor, and so much to my life. I remember when I first brought you home. You are still every bit the wriggly, giggly little puppy.

Now, aunty Alex couldn't help but confuse Spanky when she decided to play with her.



She's either saying "I've got better things to do than this if you're just gonna mess with me" or "JAMES DEAN?! WHERE?!".

She was given much praise *right* after I had pressed the stop button ( I guess it stops earlier than I thought?). I've noticed she's intense with toys but you can never use food/snacks as training help or it totally distracts her and she won't focus on anything but the food.

The James Dean thing had me cracking up and still does when I watch the video. Her reaction is so... priceless, I don't even know what to call it.

I sang her the birthday song and gave her some grilled chicken. Hopefully I'll be able to get her a few things soon!

Hey, who is that Black and Tan pup with her in the first post?

Aww! I told her that and now she is wriggling and chewing and being a cutie! Thank you from Spanky and from me, Kay.

The black and tan boy would be Willy. He's my dads DachshundxBassett mix. He is between 4-6 years old, he's hilarious, has so much energy, etc. I could go on about him! The only thing is he's a bit overweight but he does get lots of walks, play time, exercise/outside time (they have my dad trained to go in, out, etc He loves these dogs with all his heart.), and a diet dog food. He also has an older sister named Trixie who is also very funny, sweet, etc. (She's a rather large German ShepherdxRottweiler at 110-120 lbs. When she stands on her hind legs, she is taller than me. But that's not an impossible feat because I'm only 4 feet 9 in. heh.) sorry the pic quality is not great, was taken with disposable.






My life is full of black and tans! hehe!
