Cute tank..but good for the fish?

I've been planning for a long time on getting a new home for my Betta or Diamond Tetra. I think I found a good tank, but I'm unsure if it really is good for the fish. It's really cute but the fish is my main concern. What do you think? I am going to look it up now.

I've seen that in the mall--it's so cute! I think a betta would be fine in one. I started to get one once but didn't....not because I didn't think it would be good for a betta or anything, I just didn't need another bowl then.. but yeah, I also think it would be neat for a betta

No tetras, they're schooling fish and they'd jump right out of that. Most tropicals need a top, filter, and a heater. If you ask me, that's a good decoration for stones and maybe a plant. You can't put a heater in it for fish who like warm water and its barely big enough for swimming room.

Do you only have one tetra?

They are schooling fish that should be in groups of five or more. Like the poster above said, they need more room then that, along with filter, etc.

Yes, we have one tetra, but we used to have around 3 others in the tank..Sadly, they all died except Diamond. She is now in a tank with a cover, and I thought about needing a top.

So then I guess it would be good for a betta fish? I don't really want it, but my mom does, so I just want to make sure.
