    Unhappy RIP El/PET FOOD RECALL

I lost my 16 year old Himalayan on March 5th of this year. He was fine and within a weeks time he was lifeless. The vet thinks it was due to the pet food recall. I have been in contact with menu foods and was told I would receive a claims packet in the mail. That was five weeks ago! I'm just wondering if anyone else lost a beloved family member due to this carelessness, and if so what type of response have you gotten from those responsible. I have no children and this cat was my baby. I got him when he was 4 weeks old and I was 20. We had been through so much together. I knew he would go to the rainbow bridge someday, I just never thought I would somehow unknowingly play a role in it.
